Barclay & Crousse Architecture approached this design by conceiving a pure solid, as if it where present in the site. By “excavating” this imaginary solid, chipping off bit-by-bit, just like archaeologists do. This exercise results in Equis House, which merges exterior areas with interior spaces in a continuous fluid space in a enclosure that pushes the ambiguity between interior and exterior areas to the limits.
