The River Bank House sits along the Gallatin river in the outskirts of Big Sky, Montana. The River Bank House, designed by Balance Associates Architects, is separated into two distinct areas: the main living area and the guest wing. The guest area has been designed to allow it to be shut off from the rest of the house when this is unoccupied, setting it back to a lower temperature when not in use. Additionally, the both house wings have been bent in order to capture the best views of the Gallatin river while creating a protected entry courtyard.
