Japanese architecture studio Ryuji Fujimura Architects has shared with us their Storage House project. This residence is a single family dwelling located in Kanagawa, Tokyo (Japan). The house faces the street with a wide canopy above the garage. The steel volume the wraps the house enjoys three levels of spaces within a two storey structure, utilizing the underground space to maximize the floor area.

All three levels are connected with open-riser stairs, creating a spacious living room, while intermittent half floors serve as useful landings, generating a loft-like space.
