Police Grevenmacher is located on a distinctive site in the Moseltal and defines the transition from the vineyards to the urban structure of the town Grevenmacher.The new building comprises two building sections, which pick up the surrounding landscape and interpret this in terms of facade design and configuration.The main building is a slim, three-story office building with a double facade: the inner layer comprises a glass- aluminum construction with sliding elements, while the outer skin is made of galvanized expanded metal panels.
The light, partially transparent and animated surface of the expanded metal imitates the surface of the nearby river and reflects the time of day and the seasons. A courtyard is located in the corner of the two building sections and serves as a green area, car park and entrance.
