Designed by Hiroyuki Shinozaki Architects, House M is a one-story wooden house for it two residents. House M’s dimensions is 6m by 6m, and sits in the middle of site. The kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and storage are radially spread around the centre of the building. All these spaces are covered and organized thanks to its large roof made out of 2 by 12 inches lumber beams. Each gap between each functional space provides space for ground-to-ceiling windows which allow for sun light to flood in to the residence.
