Zaha Hadid on Galaxy SOHO

Galaxy SOHO by Zaha Hadid Architects is a new, science-fiction-like, 330,000 sqm commercial icon in Beijing, China. The structure is made out of five independent concrete volumes wrapped in insulated aluminum panels and connected by a series of stretched bridges, the fluid vernacular eliminates all corners in an integrated seamless structure. Zaha Hadid talks about the project, while some locals provide one-line impressions of the building.

Crane.tv meets Hadid to hear about her newest structural feat, and collect the thoughts of the building’s wide-eyed neighbours.
